CHAPTER 1

We'll be inserting the catheter in a sterile fashion. Opening the pack. Make sure you glove-in in sterile fashion. We're gonna drape the area. This is to prevent any contamination. This is the gel, it's lubricating gel that we put on the tip of the catheter. This is sterile water to inflate the balloon.

CHAPTER 2

Now we're gonna clean the penis. The left hand would be considered your non-sterile hand. Okay, so we're gonna clean the penis, the tip of the meatus, especially. Clean the whole thing. Do it in sterile fashion. There you go. Left hand is considered non-sterile. Your right hand would be the sterile one. The last stick would be the tip of the meatus, right here. Clean it really well.

CHAPTER 3

All right, so now we're gonna insert the catheter. Make sure it's lubricated really well, especially for men. Just go straight - make sure that the shaft is straight. Just keep pushing, lightly, gently. All the way in, as such. All right, we're all the way in. We wanna make sure that there's a flow. Perfect. Now we can inflate the balloon to keep the catheter in place. Okay, we're all in. Foley is in. Just gonna position the catheter so it's not pulling in between the legs. We're gonna hang it at side of the bed. Okay.

CHAPTER 4

And then after this, we wanna make sure that we deflate the balloon completely. Okay. Pull straight out and we're out. Foley is out. That's it.
