An 18-year-old male developed hypertrophic chemical burn scars from a sulfuric acid attack. In this case, Dr. Daniel Driscoll at Shriners Hospitals for Children in Boston performs 2 Z-plasties and a VY-plasty in order to relieve some of the tension resulting from this chemical burn scar.
